One Wavespell is equal to
series of days covering one Solar Seal from Tone one to a Solar Seal
with Tone 13. A Wavespell starts with a Tone 1-Kin. A Wavespell is
named after the Solar Seal at Tone one. (For more information, see also
p. 160 of the 13 Moon Diary.)
The Blue Western Castle of
Burning
Blue is the colour of transformation. Transformation is what this
Castle performs. The Snake Wavespell is the first of this Castle; it
contains 10 GAP days as from the second day. GAP days are highly
energized. It is challenging to use the energy to make great changes in
your life. The Snake spell is followed by the Mirror Wavespell. The
Mirror shows you everything and that including everything you do not
wish to see. It is impossible to escape. During this Wavespell there
are 20 days in which we dwell in the intense middle column, where
future and past come together and are mirrored in the present. It is a
highly charged period making your heart beat faster and raising your
blood pressure. Take special care of your body these days. Trying to be
in the HERE and NOW will make you profit of the beauty this middle
column has to offer. Taking care of yourself will have a beneficial
outcome to your entire person and life. The Monkey Wavespell acts like
a mirror—Monkey laughs at everything you are doing and which bore you.
After the middle column (see green frames) there are five quiet days
that lapse into 10 GAP days in the Seed Wavespell. That is not to be
ignored. That is why we call this intense Castle the Castle of Burning.

Blue Monkey Wavespell

We are in the middle of the middle; this Wavespell begins right in the
centre of the calendar. This is where we are closest to Hunab K’u, the
source of all life. From Monkey to planetary Sun are all Core days.
Many things happen that could make you very serious. Perhaps too
serious! If there is a way to please God it will be by happiness and
laughter. Use Monkey’s sense of humour, dare to play and become
invincible. Be the light-hearted, spontaneous child. But, stay on the
alert, or Monkey will fool you. Be fully grounded in the Here and Now.
Memories of your childhood can enter your consciousness. (The green
border indicates Core days.)

Yellow Seed Wavespell

Giving – and/or – knowing
when the time is right
target, flowering,
awareness
The Seed contains all the possibilities. All you desire and all you
want to achieve is already present in Seed. At the same time, Seed is
also the fertile earth which already contains everything to allow the
seed to germinate. The only other necessity is sunlight. Seek the light
in order to allow all your talents and potential to flourish. Use these
13 days and 10 GAP’s to allow the light into your life. Be quiet and
allow yourself to feel where and why you have difficulty allowing the
light to penetrate. Leave the darkness behind you for what it is and
allow yourself to become the gift that you are. Allow yourself to
flourish and prosper.
And don’t be too impatient, for that too is part of the Seed Wavespell.
Seed knows when it is time to germinate and flourish.

The Yellow Southern
Castle of Giving
We are in the Yellow Castle of
Giving. Yellow is the colour of flowering. After the big transformation
of the Blue Castle it is time to gather the fruits and share your gifts
with the world. Red Earth Wavespell, White Dog Wavespell, Blue Night
Wavespell and Yellow Warrior Wavespell control the finding and
following your path, your heart and your innermost self. It is the
Castle of flowering in which you provide yourself with the conditions
specific to your needs in order to blossom. This is the red thread of
these four Wavespells. Red Earth Wavespell: give yourself time to
absorb the newly acquired knowledge but keep focusing on what you are
to do. White Dog Wavespell: be generous and give the love in your heart
to others. See how you are fed by what you get in return. Blue Night
Wavespell: Give your dreams a chance to come true. Yellow Warrior
Wavespell: if necessary figt for what you think is true and give
yourself that respect.

What new thread is evolving in your life? Can you see how your path is
connected to the Universe? Don’t hesitate to follow it.
It may be that you are easily distracted from your activity. After all,
so much is happening simultaneously! Remain focused and follow your
path. Stubbornness may be in your way during these 13 days. You might
meet people who are totally convinced of their own ideas and who refuse
to let go of them. Are they reflecting what you are doing yourself? Use
the absorbing quality of Mother Earth to let this stubbornness flow
into her. Earth will transform your suspicion into faith and she will
remind you of your path. Earthquakes may appear out of nowhere, causing
major shifts in your work or in your personal life.

 Declaration on the Rights
of Indigenous Peoples
With an overwhelming majority of 143 votes in favour, only 4 negative
votes cast (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States) and 11
abstentions, the United Nations General Assembly (GA) adopted the
Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples on September 13, 2007.
The Declaration has been negotiated through more than 20 years between
nation-states and Indigenous Peoples. Les Malezer, Chair of the
International Indigenous Peoples' Caucus, welcomed the adoption of the
Declaration in a statement to the General Assembly:
"The Declaration does not
represent solely the viewpoint of the United Nations, nor does it
represent solely the viewpoint of the Indigenous Peoples. It is a
Declaration which combines our views and interests and which sets the
framework for the future. It is a tool for peace and justice, based
upon mutual recognition and mutual respect."
